50 Centavos 1997-1998 MINAZ Personal Incentive Bond

The personal incentive vouchers issued by the former Cuban Ministry of Sugar (MINAZ) primarily date from the 1990s, specifically between 1997 and 1998.
These vouchers were part of an incentive system for sugar workers implemented under the Red Comercial Azucarera (RCA). As part of the plan, workers received these vouchers, which they could then redeem at special stores, although the system eventually evolved into points and later into CUC before the deactivation of several mills and the suppression of MINAZ.
